Thank you for visiting and shopping at Chirp Handpans. Following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy. Please note that for back-orders or waitlisted orders, this shipping policy applies once the product is ready and you’ve transferred the balance payment for the same

Domestic Shipping Policy

Shipment processing time

All orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Shipping rates & delivery estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. The charges include rate for postage for a volumetric weight of 25kgs (50x50x50cms box) (~INR 900 for land / ~INR 2500 by air) via FedEx/Delhivery via our partner Shiprocket + box charges (INR 500) + packing charges (INR 300) + local transportation charges (INR 300).

Transportation via land takes about 3-5 business days to arrive, transportation via air takes about 2-4 business days to arrive. Delivery delays can occasionally occur.

Shipment confirmation & Order tracking

You will receive a Shipment confirmation email and SMS once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

Customs, Duties and Taxes

All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

Damages

Each parcel we ship is insured with a maximum liability of 5000 INR. If you receive your parcel in a damaged condition, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt of your order. Please video-tape the delivery and unboxing of your order as this will help substantiate your damage claim.

Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim. Our Return & Refund Policy provides detailed information about options and procedures for returning your order.

International Shipping Policy

Shipping rates & delivery estimates

Currently, our checkout page displays a fixed shipping charge of 10000 INR for international shipping. This is a nominative value based on the average shipping rate for shipping via India Post Parcel Service + box charges (INR 500) + packing charges (INR 300) + local transportation charges (INR 600). Transportation via Aramex is ~15000 INR and via FedEx is ~20000 INR.

These rates may vary depending on the currently operational trade routes and international trade agreements. So, Please check the respective websites of India Post, Aramex and FedEx and enter details of the parcel as 50x50x50 cms (volumetric weight 25kgs) & actual weight of 8.1kgs to estimate the actual shipping charges applicable (+1400 INR extra -see above paragraph).

Transportation via India Post takes about 3-5 weeks to arrive, transportation via Aramex/FedEx takes about 1-2 weeks to arrive. But, Delivery delays can occasionally occur.
